I can’t wait to get home, it’s been a long three weeks. The view out the hotel window.

Are you over jet lag and enjoying the familiarity of family and home?
Your photos showed so much about the streets, people, foods, and life styles. Looks like Western clothes predominate there. In foods, looks like every part of an animal is used. Broths and sauces are colorful and usually spicy, I’d guess from what you say, and that most dishes are served with a broth or sauce. Hot pot I’ve had at friends’ homes and liked, and dumplings as part of dim sum. Bicycles, mopeds, and cycles seem to predominate, as you said cars are expensive.

Love you much, Mom
